The staircase design features a modern, open-in-mind design with floating steps, a quarter-turn connecting two levels, and polished black rock treads (30-35 mm thick). The handrail is made of solid wood with a warm, medium-toned finish, resembling teak or similar hardwood. The balustrade is made of clear, toughened glass (12 mm thick) and painted a bright white color. The tread depth is 270-300 mm, the tread is 900-1000 mm wide, and the riser height is 170-190 mm. Stainless steel standoff screws connect the glass panels, while steel bolts hold the wooden handrail to the glass panels. Security features include non-slip strips on the tread nosings, a steady fence for support, and a tempered glass railing that protects against falls. LED lights can be placed in the wall or under the steps for added safety. The staircase design also incorporates a botanical picture on the wall for a touch of nature.
